Mr. Nasr is a veteran of the industry. He has over forty years of experience in retail broker-dealer and investment management operations and accounting. Mr. Nasr started his career at Merrill Lynch, then with Charles Schwab, and Sutro in San Francisco. His extensive experience in asset management and advisory business includes building and managing systems and processes, as well as developing asset management products.
He was the CFO at PMC (Portfolio Management Consultants, Inc.) which is now Envestnet
Asset Management, and CFO at Orbitex Financial Services, Inc.
In 2005, while the Managing Director of Brookstreet Capital Management, Mr. Nasr created a unique and sought-after integrated portfolio management platform. Mr. Nasr’s visionary system and excellent service model have resulted in a high degree of loyalty and following from advisors and employees.
In 2007, he joined National Asset Management (NAM) as a consultant and later became its President and CEO. There he designed and oversaw the development of its state-of-the-art AdvisorGuide platform and managed all aspects of NAM’s operations. Over a five year span, Mr. Nasr built NAM from a handful of advisors and less than $100 million in assets, to 135 advisors and assets in excess of $1 billion. In 2013 Mr. Nasr embarked on yet another venture to establish a more technology driven platform with a high level of service for the investment management industry. Now, Mr. Nasr uses his unique experience to build a more powerful and complete portfolio management platform using private placements, also known as Alternatives. Following the legendary doctrine of the late Mr. David Swensen, the legendary Chief investment officer of the Yale endowment fund, Mr. Nasr is using his expertise to conduct due diligence and select unique private placement programs in order to offer diverse and potent portfolios to advisors and high net worth individuals.. Mr. Nasr holds a BS degree in accounting from Armstrong College, continuing financial planning courses at UC Berkeley, and MBA studies at Golden Gate University
